The sunsets in the Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana, are some of the most spectacular and breathtaking. Evening game drives become almost surreal.
This is the way to go! On a hot day after a game drive in the Okavango Delta, we cooled down in the lodge swimming pool.
An exciting part of an adventure safari to Botswana, is flying between the remote lodges on a Cessna. Way to go girls!
The best way to view the wildlife in Botswana is on an open game drive vehicle. Great for photography too!
Having a rest in camp, a good time to catch up with updating the travel journal and recording wildlife sightings on the early morning game drive.
I love the air transfers between the lodges when you stay in different areas of the Okavango, it gives one a great birds eye-view from the air.
The bush airstrips are very remote, landing is interesting if there is wildlife on the runway, it usually means a fly-past and try again!
The lodge we stayed in had Meru style tents. All the tents are joined by raised boardwalks for safety reasons.
Dining in style. An open air dining room with a view of the open plains makes every meal an adventure all on its own.
This is one of the most luxurious camps in the Moremi, Mombo Camp. There is a sala, which is a little place outside the room to rest after a 'tough day in Africa"
Mombo Camp in the Moremi has beautiful bathrooms, whilst you brush your teeth you can enjoy the view at the same time!
Mombo Camp also has a beautiful lounge area. You can out your feet up and watch the world, or should I say animals, go by.
